LiveChat Software to pay an advance towards planned dividend

LiveChat Software will spend PLN 11.33 m to pay an advance dividend, the company’s Managing Board decided following an approval of the Supervisory Board. Payment per share will reach PLN 0.44.

„We really like the practice of numerous US corporations, which pay a dividend on a regular, quarterly basis. LiveChat Software is self-financing its R&D projects and is an effective generator of cash. That is why, today, we can take the first step towards the US model and have decided to pay an advance dividend,” CEO Mariusz Ciepły said. The dividend date has been set for January 10, 2018. Dividend payment is planned for January 17, 2018.

In the first half of the fiscal year 2017/2018, which started on April 1, consolidates sales of the LiveChat Software group rose by 26.2% to PLN 43.6 m. EBITDA in the same period rose by 29.8% to PLN 31.3 m, while the net profit was up by 22.6% to PLN 23.1 m.

Dividend paid by LiveChat Software from last fiscal year’s profit totaled PLN 1.41 per share. The year before, the dividend has reached PLN 1.08. Dividend for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2015, totaled PLN 0.71, while the dividend for the year before that was paid at PLN 0.37 per share.

In recent months, LiveChat Software has introduced new solutions to the market. BotEngine is a platform which lets users who do not have specialized IT know-how, create their own chatbots. Chat.io is a live chat type solution whose structure makes it easy to integrate it with very different platforms.

Both of these products, as well as other projects under development by LiveChat Software, are designed to test the tools and infrastructure for a bigger communications platform. API documentation which is being developed, the marketplace and the community of customers and companies surrounding the product that has been built over time, will, in a longer timeframe, give LiveChat Software an opportunity to build a wider range of communications products and services for business use.

As part of the ecosystem under development, LiveChat is offering new models of collaboration with third party companies. The partnership program, whose terms are available at https://partners.livechatinc.com, lets third parties make money on licenses being sold and on additional services. The developer program (https://developers.livechatinc.com) is a place that lets third parties develop communications tools based on LiveChat solution and infrastructure.

Clients from around 150 countries use the LiveChat solution. Users come from all industries, but the most numerous ones are from sectors such as IT, education, retailing, entertainment and marketing.
