Preliminary estimated revenue for Q4 2022/23 FY

The Management Board of LiveChat Software S.A. (“Company”) informs that the estimated consolidated sales revenues of the LiveChat Software Capital Group (“Group”) for the three months period ended in March 2023 (Q4 of the 2022/23 financial year) amounted to 20.02 mn USD and were 37.0% higher than those achieved in the period January - March 2022.

In the same period of the previous year (January - March 2022), consolidated revenues amounted to 14.61 mn USD.

In the period October – December 2022 (third quarter of the financial year 2022/23), estimated revenues amounted to USD 18.91 mn USD.

The increase in revenues compared to the previous year results from both the increase in the number of clients of all the Group’s solutions and the higher ARPU (average revenue per client) resulting from the changes in the pricing of all the Company’s products, which have started since May 2022.

The Group’s Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) value across all products at the end of March 2023 was USD 6.40 mn, which is an increase of 0.8% from the end of December 2022 and an increase of 37.9% year on year.

The most important trends that influenced the achieved result are:

  • Change of ARPU (average monthly revenue per subscriber) of the main Groups’ products. At the end of March 2023, LiveChat ARPU was USD 159.7 in comparison with USD 160.7 at the end of December 2022 and USD 120.9 a year ago.
  • ChatBot ARPU amounted to USD 121.0 at the end of March 2023 as compared with USD 115.1 at the end of the last quarter and USD 102.3 a year ago.
  • Increase in the number of Group’s customers year-on-year. At the end of Q4 2022/23 there were 37.061 LiveChat paying clients and 2.708 ChatBot paying clients.

ChatBot product revenues decreased by 0.7% in comparison with the previous quarter and increased by 33.2% in comparison with the same period last year. The decrease in the quarter results mainly from the high annual payments and additional payments for the number of interactions above the limit in the subscription plan during the previous quarter. Chatbot’s MRR increased by over 9% quarterly as compared to the end of December 2022.

The Company indicates that its offer is addressed to business clients via websites, including www.livechat.com, www.chatbot.com, www.helpdesk.com, and www.knowledgebase.com. Due to the acquisition of the text.com domain and the planned rebranding of the Group companies, corporate content is gradually transferred to this domain.

The Management Board emphasizes that the presented data are estimates and preliminary. Therefore, they may ultimately differ from those shown in the periodic report.

Because the Company generates the vast majority of revenues in the US dollar (USD), the USD / PLN exchange rate has a significant impact on the results presented in the periodic reports.
